Hairline Finish:
The name explains the look of the finish: these are well-defined continuous uni-directional lines manufactured using abrasives that cut through the surface in microns. These differ from the #4 or Brush finish in surface roughness, grain structure, and production methods.
The hairline finish is smoother, reflective, and primarily used visually as a decorative product when adjacent to polished stainless steel.
