Product Overview
This finish is achieved using fine abrasives which are fired at the stainless steel in a stream of compressed air. This achieves a uniform, matt grey finish on finish on components and fabricated parts such as casting. It can also be used selectively for decorative purposes, simply referred to as a uniform matte finish of sheet surface with micro pits.
They are finished with low reflectivity and no directionality obtained by bead blasting and contrast well visually when adjacent to polished stainless steel.
The texture of the surface varies with bead materials.
