S355J2+N is an unalloyed and low carbon steel grade that is offered in hot rolled as well as cold drawn conditions. The average yield for this grade of steel is 355 N/mm². Thus, the name given to this material is S355 and here “S” represents the structure of the steel. The main purpose for which this material is produced is that it reduces the slipping in concrete. Also, it can limit cracks in the concrete by stretching the bars.
